Getting Started with FiveM Hosting

Everything you need to set up, manage, and troubleshoot your FiveM server from your NordServ portal.

🚀 Instant setup

Your server is created automatically as soon as your order is confirmed. You'll get an email with your connection details and txAdmin access as soon as it's live, and the same information stays available on your service page in the portal.

🎮 Start / Stop / Restart

From your service page in the portal, the power controls let you start, stop, or restart your FiveM server without opening a support ticket — useful after updating a resource or if the server needs a clean restart.

Tip: Restarting from the portal is a full server restart, not a resource reload — if you only changed one resource, use txAdmin's "Restart resource" instead to avoid disconnecting everyone.

🖥️ txAdmin access

Every plan includes full access to txAdmin, FiveM's official server management panel — the link and your login are both in your welcome email and on your service page. From txAdmin you can manage resources, kick or ban players, view the live console, and adjust server settings without needing SSH access.

🗄️ Dedicated MySQL database

Your server comes with its own MySQL database, ready to go for ESX, QBCore, and other frameworks that expect a database connection out of the box. Your database host, name, username, and password are on your service page — most frameworks just need those four values pasted into their config file.

📤 Bringing your own server data

Migrating from another host? You can upload your existing resources and server data directly from your service page instead of starting from scratch. This is the fastest way to move an existing framework (ESX, QBCore, or a custom build) onto NordServ without rebuilding it.

Tip: Bring your own database export too (a .sql file) if your framework relies on existing player/vehicle/inventory data — an empty database will start everyone fresh.

📋 Server logs

The logs panel on your service page shows recent server output right in your browser, in addition to the live console already available in txAdmin. This is the fastest way to check what happened after a crash or a resource error before reaching out to support.
